This is a 4-5 star app? Please tell me more about how it doesnt have one of the most popular memes.

Its a simple interface that is easy to figure out, but some features are missing. Id like to see a drag-and-drop interface from the Finder (as mentioned in other reviews), and Id also like the ability to position my text lines, other than just at the top or bottom of the image. Also, when I want to save to a folder on my computer, it outputs PNG files rather then having an option for JPEG or GIF formats. I suspect that may have more to do with licensing, so its no deal-breaker for me (especially since PNG is becoming a more popular format on the web).

It is a good app, I love it, but why arent there any preintalled pictures or memes??? WE NEED MEMES!!!

I think it would be nice to be able to change meme face placement and color. At least I couldnt see how to do that if it was there. The more structured memes like awkward penguin wouldnt need it, but simple things like trollface would be good if color could be added and customized for certain holidays and things.

this app is so valuble we should get a million 5 stars for it! it really helped in my education!

I like this meme generator app for fun but it lacks additional fonts for optional use. This app is limited to one font that I dont like. Plus it doesnt allow you to move the text phrase anywhere on the image manually (it only use the left, center, or right feature), disappointing.

I highly recommend it. Ive been importing my own pictures and creating custom memes for my friends and family. To those "you cant drag & drop" nay-sayers I say, "Dont make it hard on yourselves and just press COMMAND-I. Import em! Too easy!!!"

I cannot even get into this application, the app crashes immediately upon launch.

Great App. Easy to use and fun! No problems.

Updated my OS to X Mavricks. Now all the Generator does is crash when it’s openened. Hopefully they’ll fix it in the next update.

This is just perfect and it allows you to use your own images, albeit in a kind of clunky way. It’s almost perfect and should be on every Mac.

On Mavericks, this app crashes half the time I try to launch it. The iOS version runs even worse. Both ran much better when I had OS X Snow Leopard and iOS 5. When it does work, it has all the customizability and ease of use I need in a meme app, and the image and text quality are superb.

Quite simply, the meme templates will not load at all. I’ve even tried deleting and installing the application several times.

Gee, I installed this and it will not open and I cannot connect to website or support. Why is this? How do I delete this from my mac? Thank you for your assistance.

Worked once or twice but now all I get is a spinning wheel, tried to reinstall it a few times but nothing has changed

Great little program/app. Does exactly what I want!
